REPORTING SERVICES ASSISTANT MANAGER

Job Description Highlights

The Reporting Services Assistant Manager will work closely with the Director of Reporting
Services on a growing portfolio of charter schools to ensure the schools successfully and
timely file quarterly and annual reports consistent with the terms of their lending agreements.
The Reporting Services Assistant Manager will also work closely with the Reporting Data
Engineer to fully utilize our automation tools to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.

Responsibilities

● Manage relationships with finance and administrative staff of all charter schools in our
portfolio
● Build and maintain annual and quarterly reporting templates for portfolio charter
schools, consistent with the terms of their lending agreements
● Schedule and participate in new client on-boarding training calls to explain the
reporting process and our role
● Populate the reporting template with required information from lending documents
● Maintain accurate records of all reporting clients and key contacts
● Maintain reporting schedules and due dates for each client, make timely requests to
clients for reporting data, follow-up as needed, and ensure all required data is received
in complete and timely fashion
● Work with Director of Reporting to finalize and approve reports and post them to the
regulatory website Electronic Municipal Market Access (“EMMA”)
● Assist schools with investor relations, including coordinating, scheduling and
recording calls with institutional investors
● Troubleshoot technical issues in reporting templates to improve the school user
experience and simplify the saving and sharing of reported data
● Work collaboratively with Reporting Data Engineer to ensure all client data is
accurately stored and organized in cloud platform

Requirements

Associate’s degree or higher

Ability to utilize different data storage platforms and willingness to learn new technologies
Relevant work history such as executive assistant, data manager, school finance officer,
project manager, or other roles demonstrating ability to maintain relationships with
customers, organize projects and keep them on track, and collection and storage of data sets

An interest in municipal finance and public education a plus

Hours and Compensation

Ten to twenty hours per week. Hours may be higher during quarterly and annual reporting
periods and lower in-between reporting periods

$30 per hour
