CEOAlan F. Wohlstetter is Founder and President of School Improvement Partnership (SIP), which supports quality charter schools throughout the country. SIP reports on more than $2 billion of charter school bonds for the financial markets and maintains a proprietary database of operating, academic, and financial data on charter schools and charter management organizations in 30+ states.
Alan has also helped charter schools through their founding, financing, and charter renewal processes. He has worked on over 30 charter school bond financings across ten states.
Alan also chairs the Public Finance and Charter Schools practices at the law firm of Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer & Toddy, P.C. in Philadelphia. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than $5 billion of bond financings, including major transactions for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and the Delaware River Prot Authority. He also represents TD Bank on financings for nonprofit institutions such as Lehigh University, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Greater Philadelphia YMCA.
Alan also hosts the School Improvement Partnership podcast “What Charter School Leadership Looks Like,” interviewing charter school leaders and innovators from across the country.
